Thank You to LGB Alliance & My Friend Sylvia
I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to the LGB Alliance for allowing me to share my story and to engage in such an important and healing conversation about the intersection of gender ideology and the LGB community. Particularly how it affects effeminate same sex attracted men. It felt so good and right to sit down with another SSA person who understood my journey, especially in a time when finding spaces where my voice feels truly heard can be difficult but is so essential to my healing.
A special thank you goes to my dear friend, Sylvia from LGB Alliance. You made me feel so incredibly comfortable and welcome, and I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive environment. Your kindness and understanding gave me the courage to open up about my experiences. It is rare to find someone who listens with such compassion, and I am truly grateful for that.
The work that LGB Alliance is doing is so important. Their mission to protect and advance the rights of lesbians, gay men, and bisexuals speaks to a world where we are free from discrimination, where same-sex orientation is not only accepted but celebrated. The Alliance stands at the forefront, advocating for sex-based rights and amplifying the voices of lesbians, who face both homophobia and misogyny in ways that often go overlooked. Their unwavering commitment to providing safe spaces, protecting LGB youth from harmful ideologies, and promoting open, evidence-based dialogue resonates deeply with me. I am proud to be part of this movement.
As I continue on my own journey of healing, I find strength in knowing that I am not alone. The work of LGB Alliance, along with the support of friends like Sylvia, is a reminder that community, understanding, and shared values are powerful tools in the fight for acceptance and freedom.
Thank you, once again, to the LGB Alliance and to Sylvia. Your support means more than words can express.
